-As we approach Reformation Day, please reflect on its meaning to us as Christians today and give thanks for the early reformers
-Give thanks for the opportunity to worship, not only on Sunday but for the fellowship & other opportunities on Wednesday nights
-Give thanks for Pine Haven Christian Communities and their dedication to serving the elderly in our community
-Give thanks for Back to God Ministries as they broadcast the gospel throughout the world
-Give thanks for the ease with which we can communicate with our children & grandchildren through modern technology no matter how far away they are
-Give thanks for 20+ years of the SCS Apple Pie fund-raiser and ask God to bless it again this year
-Give thanks for a good CSI convention and the opportunity to be challenged by good speakers and to renew acquaintances
-Give thanks for Chaplain Rick and his work at the Detention Center and pray for John who has been born again and is excited about the Lord
-Give thanks for the birth of a son to a friend in Iowa but pray for the baby's health as he is having breathing difficulties
